Brendan McCall is a multifaceted international theater artist and producer
currently based in Oslo, Norway. Originally from California, he lived and worked in New York City for 18 years, before expatriating in 2008. He has also lived in Turkey and Australia, and his work has taken him to over 40 countries on 5 continents.
Brendan enjoys producing new live performance projects which have the capacity to challenge, enrich, and entertainment audiences around the world. Whether stage directors or choreographers, site-specific performances or productions which cross artistic boundaries, he provides a number of resources for individual artists as well as collectives, including:
- tour management
- grant application
- arts management and consultation
In addition, he is a seasoned stage director, choreographer, and performer himself, who has contributed to a number of productions worldwide in an artistic capacity.
Finally, he has over 20 years of teaching experience, including long-term appointments at respected institutions such as the Yale School of Drama, the New School for Drama, New York University, and elsewhere. He has taught classes in Acting, Movement, Arts Entrepreneurship, Choreography, and Improvisation, as well as private acting coaching.
Brendan does not have a "one size fits all" model of collaboration. He tailors his services according to each individual client´s needs.
